MATERNITY
Maternity or pregnancy is a time when moms do not feel attractive and the last thing we feel like is having our photo taken. However, anyone will tell you that there is a special glow in a pregnant woman and that glow and beauty is an outward sign of the miracle taking place within her! When you look back on your maternity photographs one day, may it remind you of the wondrous miracle that you were part of. May you see how special that belly made you look!
Maternity Sessions are for Moms between 30 – 36 weeks. There is no hard and fast rule, but for size and comfort this is the best timing.
For studio session it is not compulsory for dad to be there and if dad wants to be there he does not have to stay for the whole shoot either. If he is pressed for time then we can take some shots together at the start and then he can be on his way. Please reserve about 2 hours for the duration of the shoot. This provides time for dress changes if required.
In an outdoor session/on-location shoot, mom can also come alone or you can do a couple shoot with dad and/or a family shoot with your other children too.
What to wear, what to bring
Outfits
I have some maternity gowns for you to use for your maternity session. We will discuss prior to your shoot what you will be wearing. You are welcome to bring your own gowns/dresses for the shoot. Please discuss colours with me before the shoot.
After the session, I upload the images to my website where you select your favourite images. These will then be retouched and sent to you digitally.
Please bring your own bras. Either a black strap bra, a white strap bra and/or a nude coloured strapless bra will be required. Please do not wear any tight straps before the shoot as these may leave marks on the skin. Watch straps also leave marks on the skin so if you are planning to not wear your watch in the shoot then please remove it a few days prior to the shoot. Please also wax at least 24 hours before the shoot to avoid red markings. Please ensure that you are well hydrated and have eaten breakfast or lunch before you come.
If Dad is coming for photos, Dad can wear black pants and a black or white shirt, or he can wear beige pants with white shirt, depending on the tones that you will be choosing to wear.
Please no printed logos on any clothing.
Note: If you are not feeling well before the shoot then please phone in time to reschedule. There will be no refund if you miss a shoot.

In Studio Hair and Make-Up
Both Make-Up and basic hair styling is offered.
Makeup excluding Lashes = R650.00
Lashes = 80.00 extra
Basic Hair styling = R350.00
You will need to arrive an hour before your Maternity session; Please arrange this booking beforehand, if required.
