I understand how exhausting life can be for new parents. After your baby is born, booking a photoshoot might not be the first thing on your mind. To make things easier, I recommend scheduling your newborn session during the last trimester of your pregnancy, ideally before 36 weeks. Let me help you capture the magic of your little one’s earliest moments! Babies are “newborns” for such a short time, and these photos will preserve those tiny details.
Booking your baby for a newborn shoot within the first two weeks after birth is the best time. During this time, they are still comfortable in the fetal position, making it easier to capture those precious moments. Please try to secure your booking BEFORE you go into the clinic. I do like to visit your home before you go in to the hospital so that I can look at the lighting and rooms for taking the ideal photos.
I will come into your home on your chosen day to photograph you with your little one. I bring wraps and props with me. I take a few photos of baby alone and baby with Mom and Dad.
Newborn shoots typically last anytime from 90 minutes to 4 hours, depending on your baby’s needs. I go according to your baby and the feeds and whatever else is requited to make baby and mom comfortable. I do not like to rush this particular shoot.
I offer a variety of props. As far as colours go on the wraps, I like to stick with the neutral palletes, but can also cater for some pinks and blues I also have items of newborn clothing that are really adorable, including headbands, to perfectly complement your baby. You are welcome rest or to join in and help during the session. Your baby’s safety is my top priority, and I handle every detail with the utmost care. No photos or videography of the shoot are allowed from anyone else, while I am in your home.
For first-time parents, I know how overwhelming everything can feel. My goal is to make your experience as comfortable and stress-free as possible.
To book your session, please fill out the contact form. Once I receive your details, we’ll confirm a time and date. A non-refundable 50% deposit is required to secure your booking. The balance is due before I arrive on site.
