10 Great Ideas for Your One Year Old’s Birthday Party!

Here are some creative ideas for a one year old birthday party:
- Sensory Play Station: Create a sensory play area with different shapes, colours and textures. You can use play dough, water, sand, bubbles, and other safe materials.
- Bubble Party: Set up a bubble machine and let the toddlers chase and pop bubbles. Toddlers love bubbles!
- Animal Theme: Decorate the party with cute baby animal images and have animal masks and hats for the children to wear at the party. You could also hire someone to bring in baby animals for the kids to interact with.
- Rainbow Theme: Children love colour and love rainbows! Use bright and colorful decorations and have a rainbow cake or cupcakes. Have a craft station where the kids can do rainbow paintings. Don’t forget aprons!
- Teddy Bear Picnic: Set up a picnic area with blankets and teddy bears. Serve the snacks and drinks in little picnic baskets. Have sing-alongs with well known songs and nursery rhymes and get the toddlers to do the actions and dance.
- Storybook Character Theme: Choose a favourite storybook character. Invite the kids to dress up as that character. Once at the party, you can read the story or hire/do your own puppet show for added entertainment.
